New Life - Resurrection Sunday!!

I thought our pastor did an excellent job this morning with his children's message (each Sunday, Pastor Brian, has the kids to come up front and he has a short message with them before they go off to children's church) This Sunday being Easter- Resurrection Sunday, Pastor Brian asked the kids if they knew why we hunted eggs on Easter...What do eggs have to do with Jesus?? One cute little one said "Because Jesus hides them" ...On the screens Pastor Brian had a picture of some bird eggs in a nest from his yard...He explained to the kids that the eggs (like the bird eggs) represent new life...how Easter was about new life- how Jesus was resurrected to New Life and how we can have new life in Christ!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, but I also hope it was more to you than just bunnies, and baskets, and eggs!! I hope that you celebrated Jesus' Resurrection Day!
