Today was Tommy's first official Sunday as Pastor of Luthersville Baptist Church!! The pulpit committee planned a special Installation service today, since this was Tommy's first church. It was such a special day for Tommy and for all of us!! Chase, Brian, Gerie, Billy, Nathan, Hester, Jacob, and Kinley were all there to experience this day with him...We missed Matthew, Sarah, and the kids, but can't wait until they come for a visit this summer!! And of course Tommy's parents were there as well!! (for those who didn't know Tommy's parents are members at Luthersville Baptist and have been for many years!!)We had a great service...the Lord's presence was definitely felt in the service...It was a wonderful time of the church committing to Tommy as their Pastor and Tommy committing to the church and all of us as believers committing to the Lord and then a ceremonial signing of a covenant between Tommy and the church!!
